ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
This dual-degree programme at BUV develops a broad foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures and systems design. Students will explore how artificial intelligence, cloud computing, networks, cybersecurity, and applied cryptography work together to support modern digital solutions.
YOUR LEARNING PATH
This module will equip students with a greater ability to communicate through writing, and speaking, as well as enhance their receptive skills with reading and listening. Overall, students will learn key foundational skills in academic English and develop a greater ability to use English in both formal and informal settings. The aim of this course is to build a strong foundation for students to extend towards more specialist, academic forms of English usage and comprehension.
This is a foundation module intended to provide students with an introduction to a wide range of necessary study and personal skills, including ideation and creativity, effective study, stress and health management, teamwork and collaboration, personal branding, and career development.
Programming fundamentals is an introductory course designed to equip you with a foundational understanding of programming principles and the ability to break problems down using computational thinking. This course aims to develop your critical thinking and analytical skills, preparing you for advanced study and a promising future in Technology
IT Essentials provides fundamental IT knowledge and practical skills in hardware, operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity, enabling learners to effectively support business operations and modern technology environments.
These Vietnamese modules: (1) are applicable to Vietnamese students only, (2) are taught and studied in Vietnamese by an outsourced provider, (3) are non–credit bearing modules in the final transcript, (4) of which successful completion is a condition of graduation.

DISTINCTIVE EXPERIENCE
Computing and Intelligent Technologies provides a versatile foundation in programming, algorithms, data structures and systems design – skills relevant to software development, data, cybersecurity and many other technology-enabled fields. Combined with exposure to emerging technologies, this foundation helps students prepare for a changing employment landscape and develop expertise that can continue to grow with the digital economy.
Students begin developing professional awareness through collaborative projects, practical learning and project-management activities. BUV promotes a network of more than 450 national and international industry partners and internship opportunities from the first year. From the first module to the final year, students turn learning into action through projects woven throughout the programme. They tackle technical challenges, collaborate on solutions and apply new knowledge as they progress from Year 1 to Year 3 – building confidence and the ability to turn ideas into practical outcomes.
Students learn to see and shape the full technology ecosystem. From artificial intelligence and machine learning to cloud architecture, networks, cybersecurity and applied cryptography, the programme shows how modern digital systems are designed, connected, deployed and secured. Rather than learning technologies as separate topics, students understand how each element works together to transform an idea into a functioning and dependable digital solution. This integrated perspective helps them think more strategically, solve complex problems with greater confidence and understand what it takes to build technology that can perform in the real world.
A Computing and Intelligent Technologies degree gives students the freedom to grow in different directions as their interests and strengths develop. They can explore software, data, cybersecurity and systems across sectors such as technology, finance, healthcare and education – without being restricted to one narrow path. Because digital skills are transferable, the foundation can also support collaboration with international organisations, overseas employers and remote teams. At BUV, students gain the flexibility to shape a career that grows with their interests, strengths and the opportunities ahead.
