British University Vietnam (BUV) is proud to be the first university in Vietnam to receive global quality accreditation from the QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education), after successfully completing the International Quality Review (IQR) process.
At the 2025 QS Higher Education Summit – Asia Pacific in Seoul, South Korea, BUV was officially awarded the QS 5-Star rating for the 2025–2028 period. This marks the second consecutive time BUV has achieved this prestigious accolade, confirming its position as the first and only university in Vietnam to maintain excellent international standards for six consecutive years (2022–2028).
Graduates receive their degree directly from BUV or from one of its six UK partner universities, all globally recognised: the University of London, Staffordshire University, Bournemouth University, Arts University Bournemouth, the University of Stirling, and Manchester Metropolitan University.
BUV's bachelor's degrees are awarded directly by its partner universities in the United Kingdom, including the University of London, Staffordshire University, Arts University Bournemouth, the University of Stirling, Bournemouth University, and Manchester Metropolitan University, alongside programmes awarded directly by BUV itself. These degrees are comprehensively accredited by the QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education) — the UK's official body for assuring higher education quality against international standards. Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training also recognises these international accreditation results and includes BUV on its list of recognised international education providers in Vietnam. As a result, these UK degrees are widely recognised to global standards, for further study or employment both in Vietnam and abroad.
