Tiến sĩ Madura Thiwanka Pathirana

Tiến sĩ Madura Thivanka Pathirana là một học giả người Sri Lanka và Úc, chuyên về du lịch bền vững và quản trị kinh doanh. Ông có bằng Tiến sĩ Quản trị Kinh doanh (Doctor of Business Administration) từ Đại học Wales Trinity Saint David, Vương quốc Anh, và hiện đang là Giảng viên cao cấp tại Đại học Edith Cowan (Cơ sở Sri Lanka).

Năm 2025, ông hoàn thành chương trình Nghiên cứu sau tiến sĩ về Kinh tế Biển và Du lịch Bền vững tại Đại học Griffith, Úc.

Nghiên cứu của ông tập trung vào đổi mới sinh thái, du lịch thân thiện với khí hậu và du lịch dựa vào cộng đồng. Tiến sĩ Pathirana đã chủ trì nhiều dự án do Bộ Ngoại giao và Thương mại Úc (DFAT) tài trợ nhằm thúc đẩy du lịch bền vững tại Sri Lanka, và đã có nhiều công trình được công bố trên các tạp chí quốc tế.

Ông tận tâm với việc nuôi dưỡng năng lực lãnh đạo hướng đến phát triển bền vững và đào tạo các chuyên gia du lịch – kinh doanh sẵn sàng cho tương lai.
