From a 'rebellious' student to a resilient young leader

I was once just an average student, mischievous and insecure, at a private school in Hanoi. From an early age, I rode the streets delivering goods to help support my family. Many times, I questioned myself and felt unworthy of the quiet sacrifices my parents had made.

Yet it was the desire to change and an enduring determination that lifted me up. I earned a full scholarship to BUV, a turning point that opened a new journey - one filled with challenges but also brimming with opportunities and hope for the “problem student” I once was.

At BUV, I learned how to lead, how to build community, and how to rise after every fall. From countless failed attempts at youthful startups to the difficult days after graduation, it was the relationships and invaluable experiences I found at BUV that became my source of strength, helping me move forward with resilience. Looking back now, I understand that being Lionhearted does not mean never failing. It means never giving up, and knowing that with every step back up, I come closer to the dream I am striving for.
