British University Vietnam (BUV) has strengthened its academic engagement in sustainability and innovation by co-organising and contributing to the INSIGHT360: International Conflux on Business, Law and Sustainable Futures held at Taylor’s University, Malaysia.
The conference brought together scholars, policymakers and professionals from universities including Brunel University (University of London Federation), Universiti Teknologi Petronas and other regional partners, offering a platform to exchange perspectives on contemporary challenges in green business, governance and entrepreneurship.
Representing BUV were four academic staff members from The Business School, each presenting their latest research exploring sustainable development from different lenses:
Dr. Dong Manh Cuong – Assessing the Impact of Digital Government Tools on Corporate Sustainability: A Framework for Vietnam
Dr. Kumarashvari Subramaniam – Not Too Ugly to Eat: Student Perspectives on Sustainable Food Choices in Malaysia
Their studies were featured across two co-located conferences – iGREENBIZ: International Conference on Green Business and Sustainability Practices and FAME: International Conference on Family and Entrepreneurial Management Excellence – reflecting BUV’s diverse expertise in sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship.
“It was inspiring to engage with researchers from diverse disciplines and see shared aspirations for a more sustainable and inclusive future,” said Dr. Kumarashvari Subramaniam.
Through co-organising the Insight360 Conference, BUV continues to demonstrate its commitment to research-led education, global collaboration and the pursuit of knowledge that addresses real-world challenges.
The conference theme, “Bridging Minds, Reimagining the Future,” aligns closely with BUV’s vision of empowering future generations to create positive, lasting impact through creativity, responsibility and innovation.
