How long does the IFP last? The programme runs for 9 months (equivalent to one academic year), after which students who meet the requirements progress directly into Year 1 of their University of London bachelor's degree.
Is the Foundation fee included in the bachelor's tuition fee? No — the IFP is a separate programme with its own separate fee, which is not added to the subsequent 3-year bachelor's tuition. In other words, students on the UoL pathway study for a total of 4 years. However, the university's website does display the Foundation fee as part of the total programme cost shown for University of London degree programmes.
