BUV graduates receive a bachelor's degree awarded by the relevant UK partner university. Degree classification follows the exact regulations and assessment framework of the UK partner, equivalent to that applied to students studying in the UK.
Bachelor's (Honours) degree classifications:
- First Class Honours
- Second Class Honours – Upper Division (2:1)
- Second Class Honours – Lower Division (2:2)
- Third Class Honours
Classification criteria:
- Based on the cumulative grade point average (GPA) across modules in the core programme, as set by the partner university
- Each module is assessed through multiple formats: individual/group assignments, presentations, projects, essays, final exams, etc.
- The assessment weighting for each module is clearly set out in its module specification
- Only modules that meet the required pass standard count towards the final degree classification
