When I first joined BUV, I was worried that I would not fit in. I imagined students at an international university would all be fashionable and sophisticated, while I was just ordinary. But the reality was completely different. Everyone in the communities I joined was friendly and welcoming. One of my happiest moments at university was simply sitting with my friends and realising that I truly belonged here. Every relationship I have formed at BUV, whether close or casual, has been meaningful and taught me something valuable.

Student Life at BUV goes far beyond extracurricular activities. It has taken me on an inspiring journey of personal growth. The vibrant and diverse environment encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, move beyond my old limitations, and become more confident and resilient. Through each experience, I have learned to take ownership, think proactively, and strengthen my leadership skills. More importantly, I have discovered what I am truly passionate about and become ready to take on greater responsibilities within the student community.

During my time at BUV, I joined the core teams of two major events and took on a wide range of responsibilities, from photography and operations to logistics and communications. Looking back at who I was in my first year, I can see how much I have changed and how these experiences gradually helped me discover what I truly want to pursue.

The person I was three years ago probably never imagined that I would become such a 'chameleon', constantly taking on different roles. I was never particularly adaptable, but every activity has made me braver. I have also realised that I am more than someone who simply enjoys studying. I still love learning, but what excites me most is applying knowledge to solve real-world problems. No one likes finding x, but if the x is in TEDx, I am in.

Competitions and student activities at BUV have helped me move beyond self-doubt, confidently take on different roles, and actively pursue opportunities I never thought I would try. I believe the most important thing is to explore what you love and trust yourself. By getting involved, you gain more than experience. You may also meet people who become important to you and open up new opportunities along your journey.
