This BUV foundation course has been specifically designed to prepare students to pursue their undergraduate degrees with Staffordshire University, University of Stirling and Arts University Bournemouth programmes. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be equipped with the ability to think critically, logically, and creatively as well as develop transferable skills for a lifetime of employment.

The International Foundation Programme – IFP, awarded by University of London (UoL), globally recognised, is designed to prepare students to pursue their studies at the undergraduate level in the field of accounting, finance, economics, information technology, marketing, management, and business administration. The teaching and learning strategies ensure students have sufficient academic rigor to prepare them for degree level all over the World. University of London works closely with BUV in terms of managing and controlling the quality of teaching, course content and an extensive shared online library to bring our students a genuine UK learning experience.

IELTS for University is a series of part-time IELTS courses that:

(1) provides English language training for high school students to achieve their target IELTS scores for university entrance;

(2) prepares students with the essential academic English skills for undergraduate studies, and;

(3) inspires students towards their undergraduate studies by taking IELTS courses within an authentic 5-star international university setting.

BUV UNIPATH programme benefits pre-university (undergraduate and post-graduate) students by teaching a set of vital academic skills – ranging from notetaking when listening to lectures, taking parts in seminar discussions, to developing arguments in writing and critical reading.  

The content of BUV’s 3 sequential UNIPATH courses focuses on typical academic learning and teaching methodologies – lectures, seminars, tutorials, research essays, reports, verbal and visual presentations, etc. – and is customised to the requirements of a particular discipline. Simultaneously, students improve their English language proficiency at a steady pace. 

The UNIPATH programme represents a holistic approach to English language learning and study skills development. The complete programme equips students with both language proficiency and specifics of a chosen academic disciplinary community. UNIPATH programme comprehensively supports students by fostering their academic skills through English language which is crucial for students’ ultimate academic success.
