POSITION PURPOSE

The Video Content Creator & Editor will work under the guidance of our instructional designers to create high-quality video content for our online and hybrid courses. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative graduate or junior professional to grow in the field of education and media production. You’ll gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and digital storytelling, while making a direct impact on the quality of our learning materials.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Capture video footage for online instructional content, including recording course lectures, demonstrations, and tutorial videos.
• Edit raw footage to create polished, engaging video content.
• Work closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and engagement.
• Organize and archive video assets to ensure efficient retrieval and management of multimedia files.
• Review video footage to maintain production quality, adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in media production or creative field with focus on video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Familiarity with cameras, microphones, and lighting setups.
• A demo reel or portfolio showcasing relevant video work (educational or instructional videos are a plus).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
• High standards for visual quality and an eye for detail.
• Willingness to ideate, experiment, and come up with creative design solutions that fit within the instructional video genre.

Desirable

• Familiarity with online course platforms or e-learning content.
• Knowledge of instructional design or pedagogical principles
