POSITION PURPOSE

The role is to assist to the International Office Manager (IOM) in designing, planning, executing & managing the Department’s mobility, transfer and progression programmes as well as operating BUV’s international mobility student support services.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Designing, planning, operating international mobility programmes (both inbound and outbound);
  • Developing, promoting and updating BUV mobility, transfer and progression portfolio as instructed by IOM;
  • Developing and managing information resources, relevant communication channels (including social media channels) of International Office;
  • Developing and ensuring proper, timely and accurate communications to relevant stakeholders, partners, prospective students and parents on BUV mobility, transfer and progression opportunities;
  • Coordinating with relevant departments (or stakeholders) to ensure smooth operation of student mobility programmes (including pre-admission process, pre-departure briefing, visa application procedures, on-arrival procedures, post-mobility procedures; …
  • Developing and executing international student engagement activities/projects as assigned by IOM;
  • Managing mobility students’ information & data;
  • Preparing mobility report and presentation for the Department as assigned by IOM;
  • Participating and supporting all mobility projects/ international mobility engagement events as assigned by IOM;
  • Conducting market research when being assigned by IOM.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

Essential

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration/Management or Education Management or other related fields;
  • Excellent English and Vietnamese verbal and written communication skills and listening skills;
  • Experience in administration and event management from a multi-national organization;
  • Good in Computer literacy skills : MS office applications (PPT., DOC., EXCEL., OUTLOOK);
  • Good with Microsoft 365 (and its Applications);
  • Design with Canva or other AI-design tools is an advantage

Desirable

  • Experience in international higher education & international cooperation department is an advantage;
  • Preferrable skills: research and business analytical experience;
  • Soft-skills: Public speaking/ presentation skills
  • Language: Vietnamese, English (good or fluent all 4 skills)
  • Knowing another language (Korean or Japanese, French, Dutch) is an advantage
