


BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (BUV)
British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and other UK universities. POSITION PURPOSE
This role is responsible for counseling students and parents on various mobility program opportunities, advising them on necessary paperwork, and maintaining accurate records of inquiries;
This role also involves providing administrative supports to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the International Office’s partnership, mobility, and support services functions
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Be responsible for developing, maintaining and providing comprehensive counselling/guidance to prospective mobility students and parents (including academic/ non-academic mobility, transfer, progression programmes, other mobility related opportunities offered to BUV students, alumni and inbound mobility students) to ensure seamless experience in their registration/admission process with BUV/BUV’s Partner;
- Proactively update consultation scripts and information resources on BUV’s mobility and international opportunities to ensure easy access for prospective stakeholders: students, parents, partners, internal departments;
- Record, follow-up and manage all IO inquiries consolidated from various channels (in-person visits, BUV events, emails) in a centralized system and provide appropriate responses in a timely manner;
- Assist in consolidating and updating news related to IO’s Partnerships and Mobility activities for promotional or consultation purposes (including managing the Department’s social media pages, web-page, internal information channels..);
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the International Office’s partnerships, mobility programmes and support services functions;
- Conduct research or prepare reports as assigned by LM or the IOM;
- Provide support in international engagement activities & projects as assigned by the LM or the IOM.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Essential
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Communications, Education Management, Marketing or other related fields;
- Negotiation skill is essential;
- Excellent English and Vietnamese verbal and written communication skill and listening skill;
- Experience in administration and customer service management from a multi-national organization;
- Good in Computer literacy skills: MS office applications (PPT., DOC., EXCEL., OUTLOOK);
- Good (at least be familiar) with Microsoft 365 (and its Applications);
- Soft-skills: Public speaking/ presentation skills/ Problem solving
- Research and business analytical experience;
- Strategic thinking
Desirable
- Master degree;
- Foreign Language(s): Korean /French/Japanese/Chinese.. if any
- Previous experience in mentorship/student event management/social media management
- Experience in international cooperation division of H.E Institutions
