POSITION PURPOSE
The Admissions Office is a critical and valuable business partner of Student Recruitment (SR), International Student Recruitment (ISR), and the International Office (IO) which as the whole, contribute to sustainable growth of BUV. The Associate Manager, Admissions Office is responsible for overall management the university’s admissions operation, ensuring equal learning opportunities for all candidates, regardless of their educational backgrounds, ages, races, religions, etc. In addition, this role is responsible for an efficient student admission process, both domestic and international, while ensuring compliance with regulations set by the Ministry of Education and Training, partner universities, and other relevant bodies. The manager will manage the entire application process on SITS, from initial application to admission decisions, and propose changes to improve efficiency and user experience.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Manage and process applications to Offer Letter through the SITS system effectively and efficiently, handling application-related enquiries and correspondence from Student Recruitment (SR), International Student Recruitment (ISR), and the International Office (IO) in a timely, cooperative, and positive manner.
- Handle Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) enquiries and applications on SITS, liaising with Head of Schools and partner universities’ delegate to process them in a timely manner.
- Evaluate a wide variety of academic qualifications, make decisions, and issue offers on non-complex applications in line with agreed policies and MOET regulations
- Provide training and guidance to business partners on entry
- Training new members of SR, ISR, IO teams to ensure they can complete their duties to the desired
- Ensure compliance with MOET regulation through chasing and completing student admission
- Liaise with Head of Schools, partner universities’ delegate, Legal department and University Compliance department to determine learning pathways for students with complex study Where possible, actively convert newly confirmed learning pathway into written entry requirements
- Administer other stages in the application to admission process, including arranging for applicants to take English Language Proficiency Tests or attend academic interviews, ensuring that assessment day data is recorded and acted upon appropriately.
- Work closely with key business partners (SR, ISR and IO), especially in events and promotion campaigns to make sure admission information is delivered accurately and students and parents are advised in timely
- Ensure the appropriate and accurate recording of student data on SITS at the admissions
- Perform other duties as may reasonably be required on a temporary or continuing
- Take ownership and frequently review and review admissions policies and procedures, entry requirements document that confirmed by partner universities.
