Assoc. Professor Jason MacVaugh

Born in the United States but raised and educated in the Cayman Islands and the United Kingdom, Jason completed a BSc in Business Management from N.C. State University. Following graduation in 2000 he was employed in both in the UK and the USA banking sectors. In 2002, he completed an MSc in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Brunel, and subsequently in 2003, won a studentship for a PhD in Knowledge Management. In 2007, Jason took a position at the University of Gloucestershire where he completed his PhD thesis in 2009. Jason’s career includes teaching and research activities across international locations including: Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA, Italy and Tunisia.

Jason is a keen Teaching and Learning champion; winning a HEA National Teaching Fellowship in 2011, multiple faculty teaching and learning excellence awards, and publishing Pedagogic research alongside his disciplinary work in Innovation and Human Resource Management.
