BUV’s Awarding Partner – Staffordshire University Officially Rebrand as ‘University of Staffordshire’ 09:29:32

The rebranding to University of Staffordshire signals a fresh chapter, one that further solidifies the institution’s role as a dynamic and inclusive institution that is forward-thinking and purpose-driven.

The University of Staffordshire has been a strategic awarding partner of BUV since 2009, playing a crucial role in delivering a range of UK-accredited programmes in Vietnam. As the awarding body for key academic disciplines such as Business, Computing and Innovative Technologies and Contemporary Creative Practice, the partnership has enabled BUV students to receive world-class education aligned with the University of Staffordshire’s high standards.

The new brand strategy of University of Staffordshire, centred around the theme of ‘possibility realised,’ celebrates diversity, inclusion, and opportunity. It is a reflection of the University of Staffordshire’s belief in the transformative power of education and its role in helping individuals unlock their potential.

Professor Martin Jones, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of University of Staffordshire, said: “For over a century, we have been transforming lives – empowering individuals who, in turn, have transformed society across Staffordshire and beyond. Our roots run deep in the heart of the region, and our impact resonates far beyond our borders. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Lichfield, and London, we take immense pride in this latest evolution, signalling that we are not just a university in the region, but a university for the region – a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and opportunity like no other.”

The University’s revitalised identity will be rolled out across all platforms this Autumn, with a focus on showcasing its vibrant, inclusive, and forward-looking approach. This transformation is a bold statement of the University’s intent to remain at the forefront of higher education, ensuring that it is a place where all voices are heard, and all aspirations are supported.

This renaming signal a new era, reinforcing the values of innovation, inclusivity, and forward-thinking education that both institutions champion. As a strategic partner of the University of Staffordshire, BUV is proud to continue this strong collaboration. Together, we remain committed to providing quality, QAA-accredited programmes to students in Vietnam, expanding opportunities for international academic exchanges and fostering global talent.
