BUV welcomed the Finnish Ambassador in Vietnam to visit our campus

On Friday 12th June 2020, the Finnish Ambassador in Vietnam – Sir Kari Kahiluoto visited British University Vietnam (BUV)’s campus and discussed strategic partnerships with the President of BUV – Professor. Dr. Ray Gordon.
On the visit to BUV’s campus, Sir Kari Kahiluoto also had an intimate and constructive meeting with the President of British University Vietnam (BUV) – Professor Dr. Ray Gordon. The two sides discussed the promising opportunities to enhance potential cooperation, especially in the field of education, between the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam and BUV.
All classrooms at BUV are fully equipped with the most advanced computer systems and equipment in the world, especially specialized practice rooms for such fields as Tourism Management, International Hospitality Management, and Computer Science, Computer Games Design and Programming. These rooms are specially designed to create the best learning environment for students to apply their knowledge and understanding to real-world scenarios.
In addition to up-to-date facilities and a British standard curriculum taught by 100% international lecturers, students at BUV are always encouraged to become discoverers, explorers and creative thinkers to create their own opportunities in career and life during the 4th Industrial Revolution.
After Sir Kari Kahiluoto’s visit, BUV expects to work closely with the Ambassador’s appointed expert team in Education to plan mutual collaborative and sustainable development activities. In the foreseeable future, this will create tremendous opportunities for BUV students to experience volunteering activities, internships, jobs and exchange programmes between Vietnam and Finland.
